The Earthquake That Occurred in Jogja

Allah said in His Noble Book:

"And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Saabirin (the patient). Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return." They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones." Al-Baqarah : [155-157]

The earthquake that shocked Jogjakarta and sorround it causing severe damage and destroying many buildings. More than 3000 peoples dead and thousands become homeless. This disaster was undergone the muslimin (ikhwah and akhwat salafiyoon) in Bantul, Klaten and several seperated places.

The asatidzah on Sunday (28/05) had gathered with ikhwaan as-salafiyoon in Pondok Pesantren (Ma'had/Center of Dawa) Ar-Ridho Al Islami, Sewon Bantul to discuss and make coordination. They are Al-Ustadz Luqman Ba'abduh, Al-Ustadz Muslim, Al-Ustadz Muhammad Sarbini, Al-Ustadz Asasuddin, Al-Ustadz Abdul Mu'thi, Al-Ustadz Abdul Jabbar, Al-Ustadz Abdul Haq and Al-Ustadz Abu Abdillah Higa.

The meeting conclude that the priorities should be completed are:

1. Food and fresh water
2. Cooking equipment
3. Tent and sleeping bags
4. Adequate clothes
5. Medicine
